1-2      Rock fwd on the R heel with the toes pointed to the L. Recover on the Lf as you turn the R toes to the R.
3&4     Step back on the Rf, Step the Lf next to the R, Step fwd on the Rf
5-6      Rock fwd on the L heel with the toes pointed to the R. Recover on the Rf as you turn a quarter turn to the L
7&8     Step back on the Lf, Step the R foot next to the L, Step fwd on the Lf.

[9-16]: Wizard step, Wizard step, Stomp, Clap, Stomp, Clap
1-2&    Step fwd at an angle on the Rf. Step/slide the Lf up behind the R, Step fwd on the Rf
3-4&    Step fwd at an angle on the Lf. Step/slide the Rf up behind the L, Step fwd on the Lf.
5-6       Stomp fwd at an angle on the Rf. Hold/Clap the hands.

** Historical Note: “Aces and Eights” became known as the “Dead Man’s Hand” because it was the hand of cards that Wild Bill Hickok held when he was shot in the back of the head during a poker game in Nuttal and Mann’s Saloon in Deadwood, South Dakota. His full had was two aces, two eights, and fifth card varies from story to story with the strongest story being the Queen of hearts.
